Holiday Cocktails

It’s my favorite time of year! Everyone is busy shopping and making last ditch efforts to get on the nice list which means holiday parties are also in full swing! There’s so many different sweets and cocktails to sample and no healthy eating regimen is safe. I plan on thoroughly enjoying every cheat day I’m allowed and I’m really excited for all the cocktails I get to try out!

Here’s a few cocktails I’m particularly excited about!

Instructions
  1. Add champagne to flutes and top with apple cider. Serve immediately!
Recipe Notes
  • I prefer a more boozy mimosa, so I add champagne first. You can certainly switch the order if you prefer.
  • Brown sugar and apple slices make a nice festive garnish! See the original recipe from Wholefully for more details on the best way to garnish.

Recipe Notes
  • If you don't have triple sec on hand, substitute with an additional 1/2 cup of orange juice.
  • Ice waters down this cocktail very quickly! To keep it chilled, garnish with frozen cranberries, store the pitcher in the fridge or keep it on ice.

Eggnog is my ultimate weakness this time of year. My mom and I go through gallons of it! Adding a little something extra and making a cocktail sounds perfect to me!

These are a few of my favorites but there were so many more I wanted to mention. Head over to Pinterest and check out my “Turnt Holiday” board which features lots more cocktail recipes with fun holiday twists. I’m updating it all the time and there’s pretty much something for everyone! A lot of these recipes are really easy to make virgin if you’d like also.
